    „Manchmal ist der Himmel bunt und manchmal ist er grau“ is an ongoing portrait work about people who have Bipolar Disorder. Every day, they and 2.5 million other people live with it on a daily basis in Germany. Statistically, bipolarity is one of the most common mental illnesses here. The percentage of misdiagnoses is 60% and on average it takes up to eight years to get a correct diagnosis. 
    One in four tries to take their own life.
